What should SAP Freshers Do!!!!

The market must be bad.... getting a job in IT companies for SAP can also be a challenge. as far as SAP support projects are considered.. customers of IT companies are very stringent on SAP experience .. A lot of times it is seen that the IT company would first get a requirement for SAP resource and then the recruitment actually happens.....
Quick alternatives to consider:
In Functional Consulting especially within SAP ERP, consider SAP Testing as an initial option... it would give an initial opening which can be leveraged further
The other option which can add maximum value is looking for companies which are in the process of implementing SAP... SAP Implementations offer the maximum value and can always be leveraged for future opportunities ...

Bad experiences with SAP Training Institutes

Folks,
I have been receiving lot of threads on false commitments from SAP training institutes.. Is this the actual case?
Has it become extremely difficult getting a job with just a SAP certification...
Whats been the experiences when you have been applying for a job??
Appreciate some perspective from the concerned folks on the same.....

Workshops on the various products and technologies on SAP, How are customers leveraging SAP.. various profiles in SAP... SAP Business Analyst, Project Manager, Developer, Consultant, Product Manager.... How does one build expertise in SAP???
Offline workshop should be a good idea....

7 years back , I got introduced to SAP... Started off with the SAP Order to Cash Module... Over a period of time, my profile gave me the opportunity to get exposure to SAP BI, SAP CRM, SAP MDM, SAP Netweaver Custom Application, SAP SEM, SAP Enterprise Portal...SAP Support....
Also, there were opportunities to continuously work with colleagues and partners in SAP, experts from SAP, service providers in SAP..
SAP's pro-activeness in customer engagement and SAP Support has been the highlights for me
NW has been the biggest thing that has happened from SAP.. to see so many start ups in Bangalore with great expertise in SAP NW has been a revellation ......
Quite a few capable folks have managed to build a very successful career as an analyst / consultant/ project manager in SAP technologies...this should be leading to a fertile SAP eco system in many organizations...
I am sure folks who have been remotely linked to SAP as a customer or analyst or consultant or product manager or product expert would have an invigorating SAP experience to share....
